Natural light, motion and an embrace of nature are key features in my life work as a visual artist, these aspects of creativity are more important than ever in a world which relies upon countless digital intangibles. I operate in and anticipate radiance along with the kinetic possibilities in everything and always consider the place my creation may live afterwards, bringing life to something otherwise considered inanimate.

I have been creating one of a kind sculpture, furniture, fine art black and white film photography and paintings for thirty years – I’m happy to say that they grace homes, collections, institutions and businesses in 35 countries – there are never replicas, series or duplicates anything. I work with my own hands, do not sub-contract or mass produce – everything is created with absolute integrity by me in my US studios. Occasionally I undertake specific commissions, which I approach with an open, enthusiastic and sensitive mindset – you’ll find some examples here.

This is my life work. Everything I create arrives from natural materials, with a strong focus on environmentally sensitive and sustainable practices, these incorporate unusual, rarely seen woods, important conductive metals and beautiful genuine crystals and stones, these fill my creations with positive energy - I don’t use harmful chemicals and the natural wood I employ is not from endangered rain forests but sensitively sourced personally – some has seasoned for as long as ten years before I work with it.

I trust you will enjoy this jaunt into my creative world.
